Title

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-4201 OF THE COMMERCE CITY REVISED MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE AUTHORITY OF CITY PERSONNEL TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS

Body

The City Charter establishes and establishes certain limits regarding the City's authority to enter into contracts or to sell City property. The City Code, Section 2-4201, and the City's Procurement Policy have been established to provide rules for the use of that authority. The proposed ordinance attempts to clarify certain ambiguities in the Code and the conform the Code to more recent thresholds established in the Procurement Policy. Council reviewed this ordinance during a study session on November 9, 2020, and proposed no changes.
