remain eligible for the senior rate, seconded by Co-Chair Martinelli. VOTE: Motion

A motion was made by Co-Chair Martinelli that existing recreation center members with
an active Senior Annual Resident pass will retain the $12 annual rate while the
membership remains continuously active. If membership lapses for more than two (2)
months or 60 consecutive days, the legacy rate will no longer apply, and reactivation
will be subject to the current pricing at that time, seconded by Member Dukes. VOTE:
Motion Passed.
A motion was made by Member Zimmermann to accept the proposed Golf fee
increase of 35%, with a 30% discount rate for residents, seconded by Member

Department Guide Transitioning to a Digital Guide, Summer 2026 - Tim
Duda
Recreation Manager Duda indicated that the shift to digital brochures is underway and
reviewed details of the roll out efforts. This change aligns with the City Council goal to
be more eco-friendly.
Golf Clubhouse Renovation Project Update - Chad Redin
Director Redin shared that things are moving forward, and the awarding of the contract
is anticipated to go to City Council for approval in August.
Charter & Bylaws Discussion - Chad Redin
Director Redin advised that the next steps in the conversion to a commission process
are to get the ordinance finalized and forwarded for approval by the City Council as well
as defining the function of the new PRG Commission. The group will then work on the
development of new bylaws as a future agenda item.
Consideration of New Topics & Potential Future Agenda Items

A motion was made by Member Dukes for staff to determine the fiscal possibility of
doing a waterwise demonstration garden at both rec centers in conjunction with the
South Adams County Water District for the August agenda, seconded by Co-Chair
Martinelli. VOTE: Motion Passed.
A motion was made by Member Dukes to create four or five reserved active adult
parking spots at Bison Ridge like the ones at Eagle Pointe, seconded by Member
Grandinetti. VOTE: Motion Passed.
A motion was made by Member Dukes to explore the possibility and feasibility of
creating indoor playgrounds within the city limits for review on the October meeting
agenda, seconded by Member Grandinetti. VOTE: Motion Passed.
