by Mayor Douglas on December 16, 2024, at 6:00 PM.

A motion was made by Council Member Kim, seconded by Council Member Teter, to

Public Comment - City Council will conduct this meeting in person at the  
Commerce City Civic Center, 7887 E 60th Ave, Commerce City, CO  
80022. There will be the opportunity for public comment at the meeting

24-297 Economic Development Community Gatherings  
5.  
A motion was made by Council Member Dukes, seconded by Council Member Ford, to  
direct City staff to review the City budget and prepare an ordinance appropriating  
$300,000 specifically for the promotion and organization of community gatherings. The  
expansion of community events offerings is intended to enhance park activation and  
create quality social experiences for park users. These gatherings will highlight the  
positive aspects of Commerce City, particularly during the holiday and summer  
months. VOTE: 9 - Aye  
Motion for Research on Alternatives to the Current Park Curfew  
A motion was made by Council Member Dukes, seconded by Council Member Ford, to  
direct City staff to conduct a review of alternative options regarding the City's current  
park curfew and present City Council with a comprehensive presentation that outlines  
the practical impacts of changing the park curfew.
