Meeting was called to order at 6:35pm.
Attendees: Kayla Burby, Sarai Thomas, Val Price, Rachel Marsh, and Diane Narvaez
Grant Decisions
Val moved to award $140,000 for 25 grants as outlined in discussions. Diane seconded
the motion, which was approved unanimously.
Golf Tournament Budget
Sarai moved to approve an overall budget for the golf tournament of $22,000. Rachel
seconded the motion, which was approved unanimously.
Chair Elections
Rachel nominated Sarai for Chair, and Sarai accepted the nomination. Diane seconded
the motion, which was approved unanimously.
Kayla nominated Rachel as Vice Chair, which Rachel accepted. Diane seconded the
motion, which was approved unanimously.
Rachel will be absent at the April 22 meeting. The group decided to keep this meeting
virtual instead of switching to in person.
Juneteenth - Rachel and Sarai are unable to table. We will talk more about tabling
opportunities at the next meeting. Kayla is willing to volunteer at the golf tournament.
