Meeting was called to order at 6:02 pm by Co-Chair Collins.

Approval of Minutes  
A motion was made by Member McDowell seconded by Member Martinelli to approve  
the February 20, 2024, minutes as submitted. VOTE: Unanimous. The motion  
passed.

Staff sent out a survey to the committee in February with the options that were  
received from public input. Members reviewed the top five selections to make their  
determination for the recommendation that will go forward to City Council as a  
presentation on April 15, 2024.  
New Business

Bison Ridge Active Adults Room Presentation - Tim Duda  
Attachments:  
Recreation Manager Duda outlined the transition of the current Tech Room to being  
made available for use as an Active Adult Center at Bison Ridge operating weekdays  
from 8 am to 4 pm. Several public forums were held to collect feedback on the  
transformation. Existing equipment and furniture will be repurposed, new design,  
furniture and fixtures will be installed this summer and then the programming will be  
implemented. It will still be a shared-use space during the other operating hours.  
CIP Updates - Chad Redin  
Attachments:  
Director Redin reviewed the completed 2023 capital improvement projects as well as  
the full list of the 20+ that are underway or planned for 2024/2025. He noted that with  
the extensive list and some being time sensitive, the list changes according to the  
timelines being provided and priorities determined from City Council and public  
feedback.  
Community Engagement Updates

Member McDowell attended the Hwy 2 Corridor public meeting that included some  
design review but the details on the timeline, traffic impacts and the overall changes  
were limited. Adams County is doing a 120th Corridor study between 85 and Tower  
Road. Dates TBD.  
Council Member Reports & Information

Council Member Teter shared that the transportation plan includes some road  
widening projects that will have further impacts within the city. Details are still  
pending.  
Committee Member Reports & Information  
Members and staff that were in attendance did introductions and welcomed Karl  
Zimmermann as a newly appointed committee member. Member Martinelli reiterated  
the positive experience she has had exploring the options at Eagle Pointe. Member  
Zimmermann inquired on receiving follow up information related to the Metro Football  
Stadium District funds that were received and disbursed.
