A regular meeting of the Veteran's Commission was called to order by Vice Chair  
Thomas on October 7, 2025, at 6:02 PM.  
A motion was made by Vice-Chair Harvest, seconded by Commissioner Kim, to  
excuse members not present. Vote passed unanimously.

A motion was made by Vice Chairperson Thomas, seconded by Commissioner Allen,  
to conduct a flag raising at Eagle Pointe Recreation Center on November 11, 2025 at  
0800. Vote passed unanimously.  
A motion was made by Vice Chairperson Thomas, seconded by Commissioner Luna,  
to cover up to $100 of the costs of art supplies for art therapy. Vote passed  
unanimously.  
Youth Commission Town Hall

Commissioners discussed attending the Youth Commission Town Hall and providing  
information on Saturday October 18th.  
Old Business  
A motion was made by Vice Chairperson Thomas, seconded by Commissioner Bruns,  
to adopt the dog tag icon as the official icon. No further discussion made. Vote passed  
unanimously.  
A motion was made by Vice Chairperson Thomas, seconded by Commissioner Bruns,  
to order shirts for new members. Council Member Kim amended the motion to  
automatically purchase Veterans Commission shirts for all new members. No further  
discussion made. Vote passed unanimously  
A motion was made by Commissioner Luna, seconded by Commissioner Bruns, to  
adopt the work plan. No further discussion made. Vote passed unanimously.
