Meeting was called to order at 6:33pm.  
In attendance: Chair Kayla Burby, Vice Chair Sarai Thomas, Treasurer Val Price, and  
Members Rachel Marsh and Diane Narvaez.

September Meeting Minutes  
Diane moved to approve the September minutes. Kayla seconded the motion, which  
was approved unanimously.

Subcommittee Reports  
A. Grants & Scholarships  
i. 2025 Program Review & Marketing  
2025 Grant & Scholarship calendar was reviewed. Kayla moved to accept the calendar.  
Sarai seconded the motion, which was approved unanimously.  
Program overview, application, and rubric review was moved to the retreat to allow for  
new members to have more context.  
Marketing ideas shared: repost QCF social posts on personal pages, share information  
with teachers and Adams 14 Foundation, in addition to marketing strategies we've  
exercised in the past.  
ii. Kaleidoscope Platform  
Renewal is set for December of our grant/scholarship platform. Group discussed not  
making any changes to the subscription package.  
A. Curt Holland Golf Tournament  
i. 2025 Date  
Event is set for Friday, August 22, 2025

A. Donation Procedure  
Group discussed having a tiered donation process. All donations (organizations and  
individuals of any amount) will receive a handwritten thank you note. Organizations that  
donate at least $250 will receive a shout out on social media. Group wanted to look  
into branded thank you cards.

A. November Meeting & Agenda

Kayla moved to cancel the November meeting. Val seconded the motion, which was  
approved unanimously.  
B. December Retreat Agenda  
Retreat is scheduled for Saturday, December 7th from 8:30am-12pm at Civic Center.  
Group discussed items they would like to see on the December retreat agenda. Staff  
will look into a city provided facilitator.  
Other Business

Kayla moved to spend up to $250 for branded polos for new members. Rachel  
seconded the motion, which was approved unanimously. Members should send  
Melissa Sumner their polo sizes.  
A. Boards & Commissions Appreciation Event  
Appreciation event is scheduled for October 30th from 4-7pm at Buffalo Run Golf  
Course. Information was sent in an email. Remember to RSVP!
