Public Art Subcommittee Meeting  
Call To Order

Staff called the meeting to order at 12:30pm.  
Present: Commissioners Tyler Vitello, Carlos Jimenez, and Augusta Jonhart, and staff  
Melissa Sumner and Garrett Anderson.

Staff provided update on funding strategy for the public art master plan. Staff also  
shared the idea of having a mural program under the city.  
Maintenance Section Rewrite  
The group reviewed the maintenance plan that was created in 2020 alongside the  
public art master plan for edits.  
Next Steps  
The group discussed the following timeline for the project:  
-Staff will send draft to subcommittee for review in next week or so.  
-Group will send feedback for the next meeting on October 1.  
-Group will continue making minor edits to the document through October.  
-November 18 the group will present the updated public art master plan at the Cultural  
Council meeting.  
-December 8: Cultural Council will present updated master plan to City Council for final  
approval.
