Approval of Minutes  
A motion was made by Member Teter, seconded by Member Grandinetti to approve  
the April 15, 2025 minutes with an amendment by Member Welander to affirm that Oz  
Flores was not in attendance. VOTE: Motion Passed.

Fees & Charges Review - Tim Duda/Paul Hebinck  
Golf Manager Hebinck and Recreation Manager Duda revisited the topic of the current  
rates as well as various options to increase to the fees and charges as set by City  
Council. A motion was made by Member Flores, seconded by Member Dukes to  
increase golf rates to reflect the 80% cost recovery goal and for staff to return with  
additional information on the questions that needed further review. VOTE: Motion  
Passed. A motion was made by Member Flores, seconded by Member Grandinetti to  
move forward with the proposed increase for the recreation fees and then revisit the  
annual membership rate for seniors. VOTE: Motion Passed.  
Update on Park Policies City Council Discussion - Kathy LeVeque  
Deputy Director LeVeque shared updates from the May 12, 2025 Council meeting  
regarding prohibiting shopping carts in parks, rights-of-way and all city properties; park  
curfew; and increasing park security patrols.

Website Engagement and Feedback - Travis Huntington  
Community Relations Manager Huntington provided information on the update to the  
City’s website that are underway. He requested member feedback as well as  
assistance in getting the word out to community members.

Council Member Teter shared kudos for Member Grandinetti’s Earth Day efforts and  
invited everyone to engage with the upcoming Memorial Day Parade as well as the  
event immediately following it.  
Council Member Dukes updated members on the efforts to: streamline the  
proclamation process to maximize their available working time and efficiency;  
implement neighborhood economic tours, modernize economic incentive packages  
and policies, and remove the metro district moratorium.

Youth Commission Town Hall event – 7/12/25 from 11 am to 2 pm. Requesting that all  
boards and commissions participate with other City representatives.
