A regular meeting of the Veteran's was called to order by Chair Skolyak on December
2 , 2025, at 6:02 PM.
A motion was made by Chair Skolyak, seconded by Member Luna, to excuse those
members not present. VOTE: - 7 Aye, - Excused Lopez, Burns, Chacon

Veterans Day Event Review
Discussed how event went, they felt there was some miscommunication on who was
doing what.
Security System Review

We discussed the three bids and how the commission wanted to help.
A motion was made by Chair Skolyak, seconded by Member Luna, To approve the bid
from Colorado Security Systems and pay for it with Veterans Commission budget, if
that can not be completed by the end of fiscal year, then they would like to donate
$750 to the VFW for a fundraising event to help pay for the security system. VOTE: -7
