Sand Creek Regional Greenway Partnership Event Sponsorship

Summary and Background Information: City Council approved a sponsorship to last year’s event, and it would be fantastic to continue to partner with Commerce City to support this event. Proceeds will allow them to continue to offer free outdoor activities and programs to Sand Creek’s community, including those living in Commerce City. It will also allow them to fund and install trail enhancements such as the $60,000 wayfinding sign package breaking ground in late summer 2023.
The legislative budget currently has budgeted $1,250 for this event. Please consider increasing the budgeted amount to $2,500.00.
