Summary & Background

 

Resolution No. 2022-75 authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk to grant a utility easement to United Power, Inc., substantially in the form attached, on behalf of the City.  United Power, Inc., is in the process of designing underground utilities to provide service for future development located north of the O’Brian Canal and east of I-76 in Commerce City, Colorado.

 

United Power, Inc. has requested a permanent easement from the City to be recorded in an Easement Agreement (“Agreement”) substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, to permit construction of electrical and communications facilities and all fixtures and devices appurtenant thereto on City property.
