Commerce City is joining communities nationwide to recognize National Public Works Week from May 16 to May 22. National Public Works Week celebrates the vital role Public Works plays in connecting us all together to maintain and improve the structures and services that assure a higher quality of life for our communities. The streets, roads, bridges, and public transportation keep us linked together from coast-to-coast, and through clean water and sanitation, services keep us healthy and allow our communities to grow and prosper. The Public Works Department is an integral part of how Commerce City functions. The proclamation recognizes the work of the Public Works Department.
