Summary and Background Information: The City, as part of the Generation Wild Northeast Metro Coalition, previously received a grant award in the amount of $1,845,918.00 dated January 1, 2017 to provide programs and services that encourage youth and families to experience opportunities in the outdoors that they may not have had without the grant funding and coalition.
The Generation Wild Northeast Metro Coalition recently applied to GOCO for additional funding to continue programs and services for the years 2021, 2022 and 2023. On December 10, 2020, GOCO awarded the Generation Northeast Metro Coalition a grant of $1,991,889.00.
