Body
The City Council is conducting a recruitment process to hire a new city manager through Affion Public, selected by the City Council during a regular meeting on August 17, 2020. The City Council established a job description during a special meeting on September 29, 2020.

Affion Public has conducted a nationwide search and has identified potential candidates for additional consideration based on the Council's profile. The applicants' identities are not public at this time and their application materials are confidential and their disclosure is prohibited by the Colorado Open Records Act (CRS 24-72-204(3)(a)(XI)) until finalists are identified. Before disclosing finalists, candidates will be notified to ensure their continued interest and enable them to notify their current employers.

Following tonight's meeting, Affion Public anticipates beginning interviews to assist in determining finalists. Once identified, the City Council will make public a list of finalists under consideration at least 14 days before appointment, as required by CRS 24-6-402(3.5). Affion Public will assist the City Council with a final interview process, including opportunities for public engagement and selection processes and discussions to occur in public meetings.

Tonight's executive session with regard to the city manager recruitment is authorized by the Colorado Open Meetings Law, CRS 24-6-402(4) to review candidates and their application materials for the recruitment of the city man...
