Summary and Background Information:
Carryovers are required each year when funds have been recognized but unspent. In past years these carryovers have happened as part of the annual reappropriation process. That process did not happen in 2020 as planned due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Staff is asking for these funds to be reappropriated in the various funds for their intended purposes. If funds continue to be unspent at the end of 2020 amounts will be included in the 2021 budget process/approval or another ordinance will be presented during 2021.
