Summary and Background Information

An Adams County Open Space grant application for the Veteran’s Memorial Park Renovation Project was submitted in February 2020.  The city received notification that funding in the amount of $400,000 was approved in July 2020.  This award of $400,000 is in addition to the $750,000 awarded for this project in May of 2019 through the Adams County Open Space grant program.  Items funded by the grant dollars include site furnishings, landscape and irrigation, and site lighting and electrical.  The city has two years from the date of award to expend these funds.
