Veterans Memorial Park is approximately 4 acres of a 8.5 acre site that includes Eagle Pointe Recreation Center. The resolution authorizing award of contract for construction of Veterans Memorial Park to Designscapes Colorado, LLC was passed December 16, 2019.
The construction contract awarded in the amount of $2,144,500.00 does not include the following item:
Inclusive Playground Equipment $452,653.64 (Award Recommendation Landscape Structures Inc.- based on Collaborative Purchasing - Sourcewell Bid #030117-LSI.)
Landscape Sturctures, Inc. has been selected through collaborative purchase to provide Inclusive Playground Equipment for Veterans Memorial Park. Using the collaborative purchase process saves the City an estimated $37,268.00.
