Summary and Background Information

At the May 13th Study Session staff provided information to Council regarding the current and past state of weed regulations for large tracts (greater than 5 acres) and compared Commerce City regulations with surrounding communities.  Some Council members indicated they had interest in strengthening current regulations.  Staff was directed to reach out to large tract owners to obtain their input on the suggested changes and to return to Council at a later date.  Letters sent to large tract owners requesting feedback.
