RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR 2019 ASPHALT MILL AND OVERLAY PROJECT TO AGGREGATE INDUSTRIES – WCR, INC.

Summary and Background Information: The work to be performed under this contract includes removal of pavement markings, asphalt repair, and mill and overlay of designated streets, installation of pavement striping and markings. Additionally, there will be reconstruction of two streets in the Irondale area. The contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work in accordance with these specifications. The contractor will be required to coordinate construction activities with the City, Waste Management, South Adams County Water and Sanitation District, school districts, HOAs and metro districts, as applicable.
The 2019 Mill and Overlay Project was presented to City Council at the April 8 & 22, 2019 Study Sessions.
