RESOLUTION APPROVING GRANT OF A DRAINAGE EASEMENT TO PASS PUBLIC STORM DRAINAGE THROUGH A NEXUS AT DIA TECH CENTER

Summary and Background Information: This item will approve a permanent drainage easement to the City from DIA Tech Center LLC. The easement is needed to drain City rights-of-way through private property to a storm detention pond. DIA Tech Center LLC is developing the DIA Tech Center site from Tower Road to Buckley Road and from East 81st Avenue to the south side of Second Creek. The easement is needed to drain storm water from City owned streets through private property to enter a detention pond that ultimately flows to Second Creek. Within the easement, there will be a concrete headwall, wingwall, outfall structure, riprap, graded channel, drop structures, filter fabric, and landscaping. The channel will be used to convey storm water safely to the detention pond and then through the outlet structure to Second Creek. The developer will be responsible for constructing and maintaining all improvements with the easement.
