Quality Community Foundation 2019 Scholarship Recipients

The Quality Community Foundation provides annual scholarship opportunities for Commerce City residents. Each recipient receives funding for post-secondary education up to $4,000 over a 4-year period, thanks to city council’s support of the program and the Foundation’s fundraising efforts.
Scholarship eligibility requirements:
• Must be a resident of Commerce City
• Must currently be enrolled or have been accepted to attend a college, university or vocational school in Colorado
• Have achieved and will continue to maintain an acceptable grade point average of 2.0 or higher (transcripts are required for each stage of scholarship program)
The Quality Community Foundation selected three recipients for the 2019 scholarship program from 15 applications. Jazmin Bueno-Rodriguez from Adams City High School will be attending Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Victoria Ortega from Prairie View High School will be attending Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Katie Noraseng from Adams City High School will be attending University of Denver.
