Summary and Background Information:
City Council requested a study session to discuss current sponsorship of events and process for city council requests that require more than 1 hour of staff time and/or have a budget impact.
Staff has prepared some background information to assist the City Council in discussing these topics. Because both items involve “budget” requests, staff combined the topics for the purposes of streamlining the discussion.
