RESOLUTION APPROVING CITY 2018 HIGHWAY USER TAX FUND (HUTF) REPORT

Summary and Background Information: The City is required to submit this annual report to CDOT, which determines the amount of money the City can get based on the miles of roadway in the City. This report is a database containing all of the streets owned and maintained by the City. Information in the report includes: street name, year built, length, width, surface type, and condition. The HUTF Annual Mileage Certification is required from all eligible jurisdictions each year. The report also updates with city boundary changes by annexation. The streets must meet eligibility requirements in order to be claimed for millage credit Money.

Staff Recommendation: The HUTF Annual Mileage Certification is required from all eligible jurisdictions each year. The enclosed Road System Inventory Listing reflects the status of the public roadway system for Commerce City as of December 31, 2018.
