Summary and Background Information:
As part of the Measure 2K Bond Program, the renovated Eagle Pointe Recreation Center will be opening at the end of 2018.
The procurement of new Fitness Equipment (FF&E) will be required for the new fitness areas.

Key Services of this contract include procurement, storage, delivery and installation of fitness equipment including:

Selectorized & Free Weight Equipment $156,935.00
Racking Equipment $73,657.76
Total $249,904.76
Sole Source Justification
The City desires to have similar fitness equipment at the Bison Ridge and Eagle Pointe recreation centers. This ensures that both facilities have equal quality and patrons who use both facilities will be familiar with how to operate the equipment. A competitive procurement process was held for the Bison Ridge Recreation Center Fitness Equipment. It was found through that process there is only one local supplier for specific brands of fitness equipment. If the City specifies the same equipment as Bison Ridge, there would only be one respondent for each brand. Because a competitive procurement process was held within the last year, the City has asked the suppliers if they would honor the same pricing for Eagle Pointe as for Bison Ridge. The suppliers agreed to hold their Bison Ridge pricing, except for shipping and installation, which varies with location and quantity of equipment.
