Request for extension of stipulated agreement terms for the retail marijuana infused products manufacturer license and medical marijuana infused products manufacturer license for Starbuds MIPS, LLC located at 9670 Dallas St Units 5&6

On July 16, 2018, Starbuds MIPS, LLC, through its managing member, Brian Ruden, entered into a stipulated agreement with the Commerce City Marijuana Licensing Authority. The licensee voluntarily admitted to violating CCRMC 8-2310 (Odor Control) and agreed to the following penalties;
1. Pay a fine of $30,000 within seven days of the Authoriy's acceptance of this Stipulation;
2. Sucessfully complete and pass city inspection for the proposed odor mitigation work, including, but not limited to filtered negative pressure, carbon filters and ozone odor mitigation.
3. Serve a 7 day suspension on dates that were determined at the Show Cause Hearing on July 18, 2018.
The licensee has met criterias 1 & 3; however, as of Sept 21, the licensee will not meet the condition #2.The city is asking the authority to review the matter.
