Summary and Background Information:
The Derby District revitalization began in 2006 with approval and adoption of a Master Plan, Urban Renewal Plan, and Design Guidelines for the district. Since that time, staff and various outside agencies have worked to advance the redevelopment of Derby into a successful commercial and mixed use district. The purpose of this regular update is to brief Council on several implementation steps and action items that the city has been working on over the past two years and also to look ahead at several projects and work plan items in the upcoming one to two years.
