Summary and Background InformationWe are currently attempting to address pedestrian fatalities and collisions related to distracted drivers. Pedestrians in the median and crossing the roads contribute to our collisions involving injuries and death. The following information is an illustration of the point. A review of the top two intersections reveals the top 2 accident locations.

A review of the Auto-Pedestrian Accidents reveals almost without fail that the amount of time they spent in the roadway was a contributing factor. More specifically they were not merely crossing the roadway in a normal manner.
