Summary and Background Information: Licensee submitted a complete retail marijuana store application on March 17, 2017. The Colorado Department of Revenue, Marijuana Enforcement Division issued a state license effective to March 15, 2018. The Commerce City Marijuana Licensing Authority held a public hearing on July 7, 2017, and approved the applicense conditional upon satisfactory inspection by building and fire within seven months. On November 29, 2017, the marijuana licensing secretary spoke with Jeff Nelson of South Adams County Water and Sanitation District who stated that he had sent his approval to the Commerce City Building Department. On January 17, 2018, the building department verified that all approvals for issuing the building permit have been granted, with the exception of public works. The licenses appeared before the licensing authority on Jan 16, 2018 and the matter was continued to April 13, 2018 and continued again to Apr 19th. The licensee is seeking an extension of the licensing conditions.
