Title
Recognition of the Adams 14 School District's Computers in Class
Body
Summary and Background Information: During a recent meeting between the Council and the Board of Education, Superintendent Abrego explained the district’s state-mandated improvement plan. The mayor and a council member expressed concern that with the intense focus on increasing achievement, students may be losing out on the fun of school and learning. The board has been a champion for bolstering achievement and recently invested more than a million dollars into classroom technology to improve student learning. This video explores how a couple schools’ students use computers in their lessons and asks students how they impact their learning.
