Summary and Background Information: As the city is anticipating potential applications for oil & gas extraction facilities in the near future, staff will be providing a brief overview to City Council on the current regulations. This session will include a brief overview of the current process & regulations outlined in the Land Development Code, history of the city’s oil and gas regulations, and an overview of the city’s extraction agreement.
