RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH REUNION METROPOLITAN DISTRICT REGARDING REGIONAL DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS

Summary and Background Information: The City has designed certain regional drainage improvements as part of the project referred to as the T88 Regional Drainage Improvements. Properties benefitting from the drainage improvements will contribute towards the costs of the regional drainage improvements.
The Reunion Metropolitan District has previously designed and constructed certain drainage improvements that, in conjunction with the T88 Improvements, directly benefit other property owners. The City, the Reunion Metro District and Shea Homes Limited Partnership have negotiated a Reimbursement Agreement & Development Restriction that provides an allocation of the costs of the improvements installed by Reunion as a credit against Shea’s obligation to reimburse the City for its portion of the cost of the T88 Improvements. The Reunion Metro District would also be responsible for paying their contributory share of the costs of the improvements to be constructed by the City.
