Summary and Background InformationThis item would authorize funding in support of an Infra grant application by CDOT to partially fund the design and construction of an interchange at the intersection of US 85 with 120th Avenue. Grant applications are due by November 2, 2017. Adams County and the cities of Brighton and Thornton have also been asked to financially support the grant application. As the grant applications are due soon, CDOT has asked local agencies to provide a response by September 20, 2017.

$7.0M is currently designated in 2022 in the not-yet-approved 5-year Capital Improvement Program for construction of this interchange.
