Summary and Background Information: Landing Place Church is requesting approval for the annexation zoning of approximately 20 acres. The subject property is located north of E. 112th Avenue, and west of Chambers Road.  The subject 20 acres is being proposed for annexation via cases AN-239-17 & AN-240-17, which are being processed concurrently.  The overall 20 acre site is proposed for subdivision into 2 lots of approximately 8 acres and 12 acres, which is being processed concurrently via subdivision case S-655-17.  The 20 acre property is currently zoned with an Adams County Agricultural A-1 zoning designation and is requested to be rezoned to Commerce City Commercial 1 (C-1) on the eastern 8 acre parcel and Commerce City Agricultural (AG) for the remaining western 12 acre parcel. 

 

The applicant is proposing a church on the eastern part of this property.  It is being reviewed administratively via case D-263-17.
