Summary and Background Information

Commerce City is requesting approval for the annexation of 6.655 acres. The property to be annexed is owned by Landing Place Church and will contain a future church. A vicinity map has been included for the specific location. All of the property is currently zoned with an Adams County Agriculture (A-1) zoning designation and is requested to be rezoned to Commerce City Commercial 1 (C-1) for the eastern portion and Agricultural (AG) for the western portion via annexation zoning case Z-935-17, which is being processed concurrently. The public hearing for this annexation case is scheduled for September 18, 2017.
