Summary and Background Information: The city is seeking to amend its public information services contract for the voter-approved capital improvement program.The city competitively procured public information services in 2014, entering into a two-year, firm-fixed fee contract with Communication Infrastructure Group, with an option for three, one-year extensions, the first of which was issued in May 2016. Amending the contract will enable consistency of communications for the remainder of the program and provide budget certainty in proposed costs. City Council reviewed the proposed scope of services and costs at the June 26 study session; a copy of that presentation is included for reference.
