Body

Summary and Background InformationVeteran’s Memorial Park (previously known as City Park) was built in 1971 and has been an important site for city residents and visitors throughout the past 45 years. The recreation center was added in 1987 and the Veteran’s Memorial in 1988. Three previously residential properties have been added to the park, creating additional open space along Forest Drive. This project will utilize a consultant to create a master plan for the entire park site, ensuring the park continues to provide enjoyment for residents for years to come.
