Summary and Background Information

Commerce City is requesting approval for the annexation of roughly 20 acres. The property to be annexed is owned by Shea Homes and will contain future residential and 2nd Creek open space. A vicinity map has been included for the specific location. All of the property is currently zoned with an Adams County Agriculture zoning designation and is requested to be rezoned to Commerce City Reunion PUD (Planned Unit Development) via zoning case Z-781-02-04-05-06-10-17, which is being processed concurrently. The public hearing for this annexation case is scheduled for July 17, 2017.
