Summary and Background Information: The National Park Trust is celebrating the seventh annual Kids to Parks Day the weekend of May 20-22, 2017. Cities across the nation are joining the national movement that engages children and families with parks, nature, and healthy outdoor play. The City has participated in the last 4 years, adopting a proclamation and using social media, online and print methods to encourage residents to enjoy a neighborhood park or the Refuge.
