Summary and Background Information:
In 2015, the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) issued a proclamation announcing National Economic Development Week, which recognizes economic development and promotes the purpose of economic development to positively influence economic change in a community. This year's Economic Development Week is May 8-13, 2017.
Commerce City's Economic Development Program promotes economic well being and quality of life through programs and services that assist in the creation, retention and expansion of jobs and helps achieve City Council's goal #1: to develop a balanced and vibrant economy to improve socioeconomic status.
