2018 Work Plan and CIPP Development (City Council Retreat Follow-up)

Summary and Background Information:
City Council held a planning retreat in January 2017 to identify priorities for the 2018 work plan and budget. City Council identified 6 specific priority outcomes for 2018 and gave staff direction to prepare objectives that would advance those priority outcomes. Staff has completed the development of objectives in each of the 6 City Council identified priority outcome areas and is seeking feedback from the City Council. In addition, during the retreat City Council discussed creating a mechanism to deal with unanticipated capital needs that arise routinely in our growing community and other changes to the CIPP processes under development. Staff has created some alternatives for City Council consideration and feedback.
