RESOLUTION CANCELLING CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS THAT FALL ON OFFICIALLY SCHEDULED CITY HOLIDAYS

Body

Summary and Background InformationCommerce City Home Rule Charter enables council to change the time and place of any particular regular or special meeting by motion or resolution. Section 2-2001 of the Commerce City Revised Municipal Code sets the time and place for regular meetings and study sessions.  Historically, a resolution is adopted on an annual basis to efficiently cancel a number of meetings that conflict with the city's official holiday schedule.
