RESOLUTION IN OPPOSITION OF AMENDMENT 69, WHICH WOULD CREATE COLORADOCARE, A SINGLE PAYER STATE HEALTH CARE SYSTEM

Summary and Background Information: On Sept. 12, City Council reviewed nine statewide questions and one regional ballot question that will be decided during the November 2016 election. City Council members discussed the impact of each issue as a municipal employer and on the community as a whole. The following resolution reflects a recommended position for consideration and action based on the study session discussion.
