Summary and Background Information:
The first Friday in October marks National Manufacturing Day. Manufacturing supports more than 12 million jobs in the U.S.
Manufacturers are an important component of Commerce City's economy. There are nearly 100 manufacturing companies within the city that employ over 2,600 people. Commerce City, in support of Manufacturing Day 2016, joins in this national effort and recognizes the contributions of manufacturers in the city by adopting the attached proclamation.
