Review current regional and statewide measures that will be on the November 2016 ballot

Summary and Background Information: The November 2016 ballot will feature nine ballot questions for statewide consideration and one regional question reauthorizing the Scientific & Cultural Facilities District. The presentation provides a brief summary on the measures and additional background on each of the items for council review and consideration. Presentation information was adapted from the approved ballot language and 2016 draft blue book. Links to the Colorado Secretary of State's Office and Colorado Legislative Council are provided below.

The Colorado Municipal League issued a memo earlier in the year that provided background information on all measures being advanced through the petition or referred process. That information is available online at www.cml.org/2016-ballot.
Should city council wish to take a position on any of the measures, a resolution would be drafted for consideration at a future city council meeting.
