Summary and Background Information:
The City has received a request from Republic Services to re-open these sections of 88th Avenue and Buckley Road in order to provide an alternate means of access to the landfill during the Tower Road Widening construction. The City has also received a request from the contractor building the project, Flatiron Constructors, Inc., to phase the roadway in segments, which would require total closure and detours. This presentation will evaluate the pros and cons of maintaining this access and segmenting the project.
