Summary and Background Information: An application for a tier 1 retail marijuana cultivation license was received from the Colorado Department of Revenue, Marijuana Enforcement Division on December 11, 2015. The application was considered complete on February 10, 2016, and was moved forward for processing. A legal notice was sent to the Sentinel Express on April 26, 2016, for publication on May 3, 2016, and a copy of the legal notice was provided to the applicant for posting on the proposed site. The applicant was also provided with a boundary map reflecting a 1/2 mile radius from the building as the neighborhood boundary. The applicant is unable to attend the public hearing on this application scheduled for May 13, 2016, and has asked for a continuance to June 3, 2016.
