RESOLUTION APPROVING GREATER OUTDOORS COLORADO INSPIRE GRANT AGREEMENT

Summary and Background Information: Commerce City applied, as part of a coalition of government and non-profit entities as the Northeast Metro Coalition ("NE Metro Coalition"), for a planning grant through the Inspire Initiative of the state GOCO trust fund to conduct planning for a project to improve youth and family connections with the outdoors in underserved communities near the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge.

Attached is the grant agreement, please note that Exhibit C - detail budget is still being developed; and Exhibit D - MOU or IGA with all NE Metro Coalition partners is in progress.

The grant has been approved for $100,000 planning grant with $76,950 in cash and in-kind contributions from the NE Metro Coalition partners. Of the $76,950 Commerce City is committed to $4,000 cash contribution (intended payment from 2015 Parks, Recreation & Golf budget). The balance of $72,950 cash and in-kind will come from the Government (Federal, State, Local) and Non-Profit partners (listed alphabetically):
