RESOLUTION APPROVING GRANT OF RIGHT-OF-WAY EASEMENT TO CITY OF COMMERCE CITY

Body

Summary and Background Information

The Suncor Boys and Girls Club requested an additional land donation of 0.548 acres from the Urban Renewal Authority’s Mile High Greyhound Park site. The additional property will allow the club to build a 1.43 acre youth multi-sport synthetic turf field on the west side of their club building. As part of the land donation, the URA needs to dedicate 7 additional feet of right-of-way for East 62nd Avenue to the City. This right-of-way dedication will save the Boys and Girls Club the additional step of dedicating the right-of-way after they receive the property.
