Body

Summary and Background Information

As a follow-up to the July 13, 2015, study session, city council directed staff to prepare two ballot questions for consideration. The first would update Section 5.6 of the city charter to mandate the posting of the full text of ordinances after first reading in two locations as determined by city council. The second would ask voters to approve a five percent excise tax on the transfer of retail marijuana, consistent with the city's new regulations.
